Random Exposure – Machine Polished Concrete / Industrial Finish – Grind and Seal

CCC Polished Concrete was commissioned to polish the floor in Mitre 10 Bayswater's Trade Entrance and Flooring Selection Centre.
This area of the store feature's selections of polished timber flooring options. As a display area the concrete floors also needed to look special while integrating with the concrete floor finishes of the main retail spaces so the full CCC polished concrete system was the finish of choice. The result is a modern looking random exposed concrete finish.
The job was completed after hours so as not to disturb the store's retail trade and took two nights to complete.
Our polisher assigned to the job noted that the concrete surface was very hard which actually makes polishing a floor easier. Harder concrete maintains its integirity so less concrete hardener needs to be added.
The larger indoor retail space of the store was finished several years ago using the CCC Industrial Finish which is applied to eliminate dusting of the surface while maintaining an industrial aesthetic.
