Burnished concrete flooring can either be machine polished or coated with a penetrating sealer. Most people we work with usually opt for a machine polished finish.
One reason for this is that some sealers do not "stick" to a burnished surface adequately in the long term and sometimes even in the short term. With a light machine polish we can also harden the floor as part of the process.
